We operate on a 24/7 basis, only closing for Christmas and New Year. This allows us to immediately respond to the control checks that are increasing being made by Border Force, DEFRA and HMRC, thereby ensuring that our client’s goods remain on the move.

Declarations

We can prepare imports, exports and transits in the UK, the EU and other European countries.

Simplified Declarations for Imports (SDI)

We are approved for SDI, formerly known as Customs Freight Simplified Procedures (CFSP). Under this arrangement, goods are imported with a frontier declaration that provides very limited information in relation to the consignment, i.e. number of packages, gross weight and value. This ensure that complex consignments can clear the UK border without difficulty. A supplementary declaration is then submitted to provide a full account of the goods that have been received.

CFSP approval is a mark of quality that allows Border Force to reduce its control measures at the time of import, which means that our clients shipments are rarely stopped at the border.

Bulk Import Reduced Data Set (BIRDS)

Assured Customs Declarations is approved for BIRDS. This customs simplification allows importers to declare low value parcels below £135 in a single import declaration without the need to pay duty. It requires a reduced data set compared to a standard full import declaration.

External Temporary Storage Facility (ETSF)

Our warehouse is approved as an ETSF, enabling us to hold goods in duty suspension for 90 days. We can facilitate consolidated imports and allow the goods to be collected and customs cleared baby their owners.

Authorised Consignor/Consignee

We have Authorised Consignor/Consignee status allowing transits to begin and close at our warehouse.

Registered Consignor

We hold a Registered Consignor authorisation allowing us to manage the duty suspended import and export of excise goods.
